Covenantschool Canada
Each winter we struggle to find teachers for the upcoming schoolyear, which starts in September. There are just not enough qualified, Reformed teachers in Canada to fill all the positions in the Covenant Canadian Reformed School in Neerlandia, Alberta, Canada. We are therefore inviting applications for HIGHSCHOOL TEACHERS with an interest in teaching French, English or Social Studies, as well as for ELEMENTARY TEACHERS who would teach all courses to a specific grade.

We operate with ECS (Kindergarten) and 6 elementary classrooms (Grades 1 - 6) as well as a full junior and senior high academic program. Our students are primarily members of the Canadian Reformed or United Reformed Churches, although other students are admitted on an individual basis after a board evaluation. Presently we operate with 221 students, 12 full-time teachers, a special education department with 4 full-time assistants, 2 part-time assistants, 2 part-time librarians, a full-time secretary, and numerous parent volunteers. Currently we are seeking a few more teachers to complete our staff. We have just completed a major expansion that added over 9,000 square feet to our school.
About us in Neerlandia, Alberta, Canada
Neerlandia is a small community about 150 km northwest of Edmonton. The community is primarily made up of people with a Dutch heritage. There are three churches in Neerlandia, a Canadian Reformed, a Christian Reformed and a United Reformed. In 1977 the members of the Canadian Reformed Church felt they needed their own, Reformed school, and so the Covenant Canadian Reformed School was built. Our aim is to provide high quality education within the framework of the Word of God and the Three Forms of Unity (Heidelberg Catechism, Belgic Confession and Canons of Dort).
